The Ginger and Spice Festival – 25th to 28th September 2019

The award winning festival is making a welcome return this September 2019 for a celebration of all things ginger & spice related during British Food Fortnight. Set in and around the centre of Market Drayton in Shropshire, the festival celebrates the town’s culinary heritage, links to the ancient spice routes and what is thought to be the oldest gingerbread in the country! With fringe events taking place over four days, festival goers can choose from a mélange of fascinating activities such as tastings, talks, pop-up restaurants, spice trails, foraging walks, live music, comedy, competitions and trails!

On Saturday 28th September only, enjoy a spicy street market including a food theatre with top chefs, street food, children’s cookery classes, gingerbread baking contest and much more! The Spice Exchange Street Market is free to all! www.gingerandspicefest.co.uk
