FEES. PAYMENTS AND SUMS 2017 – 2018 FIXED AND SETTLED UNDER THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES’ CEMETERIES ORDER 1974

THE fees, payments and sums set out below apply where the person to be interred or in respect of whom the right is granted is, or within six months before his/her death was, an inhabitant or parishioner of the parish of Market Drayton, or was an inhabitant or parishioner of the parish of Market Drayton immediately prior to entering a hospital, hospice, nursing home or other care institution outside of the parish of Market Drayton, or, in the case of a still-born child, where the parents (or one of them) are, or at the time of the interment were, such inhabitants or parishioners.  In all other cases, the fees, payments and sums will be doubled.

Exclusive Rights of Burial

Purchase of grave space (75 years) for person who at the time of death was 16 years of age or over.

Purchase of grave space (75 years) for person who at the time of death was under 16 years of age.

Purchase of grave space (75 years) for still born child.

Walled Graves

No walled graves are allowed in the Cemetery

The Foregoing Tables of Fees, Payments and Sums payable under the Local Authorities Cemeteries Order 1974 were fixed and settled by Market Drayton Town Council from 8 January 2015 and effective from 1st April 2015.
