Statement of Reasons

Speed reduction from 60mph to 30mph is proposed to reduce the traffic speeds throughout this length of C2053 Newcastle Road. The proposed 30mph speed limit will improve the safety of the residents of C2053 Newcastle Road and other highway

users travelling towards the centre of Market Drayton.
