Consecration at Market Drayton Cemetery took place on Tuesday 17th June 2025.
A few words from the Mayor, Cllr Tim Manton.
“It was wonderful to attend today’s Consecration at Market Drayton’s cemetery. The Bishop of Shrewsbury performed the Consecration together with religious officials including representatives from St Mary’s church. I’d like to thank the Town Councils staff who have worked incredibly hard to make this happen over the last 6 years and the Town Councils Sexton, James, for making the cemetery look it’s very best for today’s consecration”
