Pezenas Twinning Association Celebrates 30 Years with Market Drayton Visit.
The Pezenas Twinning Association recently visited Market Drayton to mark the 30th anniversary of the two towns’ twinning partnership.
A warm reception was held at the Royal British Legion, where guests were welcomed by a traditional bagpiper. The evening featured a delightful performance by the local choir A Choired Taste, whose harmonies captivated the audience. The celebrations continued with lively music from the Irish folk band Half Cut, adding a festive and spirited atmosphere to the event.
This special occasion not only celebrated three decades of friendship between Pezenas and Market Drayton but also reinforced the strong cultural ties and community spirit that continue to thrive between the two towns.
