On Wednesday 18 February 2026 the Mayor presented a cheque to Karen Roberts from Lingen Davies.
“I was delighted to present a cheque to Lingen Davies Cancer Charity.
An amazing total of £500-00 was raised from the Mayor’s Charity Quiz of which £200-00 was given to Lingen Davies, a charity going out of their way to improve the lives of everyone impacted by cancer in our community.
I’d like to thank everyone that attended, helping to raise these invaluable and much needed funds. THANK YOU”
