On Thursday 14 April 2022 the Mayor, Councillor Roy Aldcroft unveiled the Covid Monument, which has been erected at the back of the library.
The monument has been erected in recognition of the resilience, care and selfless efforts of the people of Market Drayton during the Covid pandemic.
