Market Drayton Town Council are pleased to announce the winners of the shops Christmas Lights Competition. “So many brilliant displays from local retailers made it extremely difficult to choose just three for prizes. The response from local businesses to compliment the Town Council’s Christmas light display was stunning, sponsoring trees and magical windows to add to the Christmas celebration was fantastic” said Roy Aldcroft Town Mayor.
First prize went to the AEDdonate Charity shop for their display of Christmas goods and lights in all their huge windows. Second to Peony & Tonic for their Santa and Golden Lights display, Third, went to Allsorts at top of Stafford Street for it’s well illuminated busy windows. A special mention for the newly opened Severn Hospice for a delightful arrangement.
To add to all the fun Christmas Carols under the Buttercross at 6pm on Christmas Eve.
