Market Drayton is a pretty, historic town, the third largest in Shropshire. Meander through Market Drayton’s old streets and you’ll find a sprinkling of surprises. It’s lined with Tudor, Georgian and Victorian architecture.  It’s home to historic markets and the Market Drayton Artisan Market, and some lovely independent shops, cafes and pubs. It’s famously the home of gingerbread, Joule’s Brewery and the Ginger and Spice Festival. At its cultural heart is the Festival Drayton Centre, a hub for movies, music, shows and arts events.

Just a mile from the town centre you’ll find the Shropshire Union Canal and Tyrley Locks, an idyllic destination for a waterside stroll in stunning picturesque surroundings.
